RECEPTION is located on the ground floor and is open from 8am to 8pm daily.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE DETAILS

CHECK-IN TIME 14:00, however, if you arrive earlier, we’ll be happy to hold your luggage while you explore Glenelg.

CHECK-OUT TIME  10:00 am, however, late check-out can be arranged, subject to availability. Fees may apply.

HOUSE RULES

  • To ensure all the guests enjoy a good night’s sleep, 22:00 is the time to check the volume on your TV and for non-registered guests to leave the premises.

    Anybody breaching our hotel rules may be evicted and a $150 fee will be charged for any excessive noise complaints.

  • Smoking is prohibited in the hotel. A fine of $300 will apply.

  • Our fire detection system is sensitive to cigarette and cooking smoke.

    Do not tamper with the detectors.

    In case of an emergency, please prefer to the Emergency Exit procedure on the back of the apartment room door.

    If there is a fire in the building, DO NOT USE THE LIFTS, USE THE EMERGENCY STAIRS INSTEAD.

    If the fire brigade is called out due to the guest's wrong doing, the guest will be charged a $1,000 call-out fee.

  • Please keep your key card with you at all times when leaving the room and hotel property. This provides access to the hotel, lifts and your room.

  • Our security service can be contacted on 1300 136 102 quoting ID C38407.

    Any after hours call-outs for non emergencies e.g. lock outs / lost / forgotten access keys will incur a fee of up to $100.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Nespresso coffee machines are available in your room.

    Our coffee pods are created by Jooju Coffee. Sustainably and ethically sourced from the best coffee producers globally and roasted here in Australia.

  • Unlimited high speed Wi-Fi is available. Connect to the details below:

  • To use the casting TV:

    1. Before connecting to Chromecast, ensure that the device you want to use is connected to the Legacy Hotels Wi-Fi. Network: LegacyHotels PW: JhDe6392

    2. Change the TV input to “HDMI1.”

    3. Open the app you'd like to stream from on your personal device and select the streaming option (look for the casting icon).

  • Your apartment will be serviced every 3 days unless otherwise organised or advised by reception.

    Should you require any additional amenities please see our guest service team during reception hours. Alternatively, these can be collected after hours at reception.

  • Car parking for guests is available for an additional $25 per day, reservations required.

ELECTRICAL INSTRUCTIONS

  • To set the temperature of your room, use the wall mounted controller located near the main door.

    Please note that the air conditioning will not operate when the balcony door opens. The air-conditioner will need to be turned back on when the door is closed.

  • Ensure the transparent tank is filled with water, open the slot to insert your capsule and close it. Press to choose your coffee pour. The flow will stop automatically. Enjoy!

  • With the safe door open and unlocked:

    • Enter any 3-8 digit code and press the # key.

    • The safe beeps twice to confirm the new code.

    • Close the door and turn the knob anticlockwise to lock. If the appliance times out, re-enter the code.

    To unlock the safe:

    • Enter the code followed by the # key. The green light indicates the door is unlocked.

    • Turn the knob clockwise to open the door.

    Please leave the safe door open and unlocked when checking out of your room.

  • Switch the unit on at the wall. Place your induction pan on the hob ring you wish to use.
    Hold your finger down on the power switch located on the appliance.
    Start cooking by selecting the sensor for the ring you wish to use.

    *Should the stove show the locked symbol, hold your finger down on the padlock for 5 seconds and the stove will unlock. Follow the instructions above.

  • Washer

    1. Loading The Machine

    • Open the door

    • Place your laundry loosely into the drum

    • Close the door securely

    2. Adding Detergent

    • Pull out the detergent drawer.

    • Compartment 1: Pre-wash detergent (only if using the pre-wash function)

    • Compartment 2: Main wash detergent

    • Compartment 3: Fabric softener

    (do not exceed the MAX line)

    3. Programme Selection

    • Turn the programme dial to select the desired washing programme (e.g Cotton, Synthetics, Wool)

    4. Starting the Wash

    • Press the Start/Pause button to begin the wash

    • The display will show the time remaining for the selected cycle

    5. After The Wash

    • When the cycle ends, the display will show “END”

    • Open the door and remove your laundry

    Drying Options

    Turn the dial to select the desired drying programme:

    • Option 1: 100 mins - Iron-dry

    • Option 2: 135 mins - Hang-dry

    • Option 3: 305 mins - Wardrobe-dry

    Troubleshooting

    • If the machine doesn't start, check that the door is closed and the power is on

    • If there is excessive foam, use less detergent

    Safety Tips

    • Do not overload the machine

    • Use only the detergent designed for automatic washing machines

    • Never open the door while the machine is in operation

  • Your room has one main light switch that will operate all lights in your room, it is the top switch located near the main entrance door.

    Most areas of Glenelg are within walking distance of Jetty Road. At the end of Jetty Road in Moseley Square there is a tram stop with trams running frequently.

    There are also a couple of other stops along Jetty Road to the top of Brighton Road - all of Jetty Road is FREE

    By Car or Taxi: A 10-minute drive.
